Our Purpose

Big Sioux Bible Church exists to glorify God by the teaching and preaching of His pure words, rightly divided.

His Pure Words

We believe the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved Word of God in English and our final authority.

Rightly Dividing

We teach Scripture literally and with proper divisions—Law and Grace, Israel and the Body of Christ.

Grace-Focused Gospel

Salvation is the free gift of God—by grace through faith—based on the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Luke Myrabo

Pastor Luke Myrabo

What started as a neighborhood Bible study around the kitchen table has led to the birth of Big Sioux Bible Church. Big Sioux Bible Church was founded in November, 2025 under the direction and influence of pastor Luke Myrabo and elder Josh Klaassen.

Luke resides in Sioux Falls, SD with his wife and three children. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University and Hope Bible Institute. When Luke is not studying his Bible, you can find him fishing, coaching youth wrestling and cheering on the Jackrabbits.

The purpose of Big Sioux Bible Church is to glorify God by the teaching and preaching of His pure words, rightly divided. It is our heartfelt desire to help people understand and enjoy the Bible.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

How to Be Saved

The Bible teaches salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

  • All have sinned. (Romans 3:23)
  • Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. (1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
  • Salvation is the gift of God, not of works. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” — Acts 16:31 (KJV)
